Stryker expanded the roles of two of its employees after Stuart Simpson, president of joint replacement, left the company.
What you should know:
1. The company appointed Spencer Stiles to serve as group president of orthopedics and spine. He will oversee the company's joint replacement, trauma and extremities, and spine division.
2. The company concurrently expanded J. Andrew Pierce's role as president of medsurg and neurotechology to include overseeing the company's instruments, medical, endoscopy, sustainability and neurotechnology businesses.
3. Mr. Stiles and Mr. Pierce have each worked for Stryker for more than 20 years.
4. Mr. Simpson left the company to pursue other interests.
