While Aurora Spine's revenues increased to $3.3 million in the second quarter of 2019, the company still posted a $44,105 loss.
Six things to know:
1. The company increased revenues 62.8 percent from the $2 million it posted in the same period last year.
2. Gross profit also increased to $1.29 million, up more than $164,000 from the same period last year.
3. The company's EBITDAC was $259,000 for the quarter, down from about $299,000 in the same period last year. EBITDAC is a figure that is not adjusted for generally acceptable accounting principles.
4. Aurora increased the amount of money spent on product development and sales expenditures to help the company meet its revenue goals.
5. Aurora's operating expenses were $1.3 million for the quarter, up from $1.1 million in the second quarter of 2018.
"I am exceptionally proud of our accomplishments in the second quarter," said Aurora CEO and President Trent Northcutt. "We achieved another quarter of successive revenue growth, as we reached record-breaking revenue goals."
