Icotec Medical is launching its VaderOne pedicle screw system.
Four insights:
1. VaderOne consists of icotec's BlackArmor PEEK material, which is cleared for restoration of the spinal column in advanced stage tumor patients.
2. BlackArmor is a radiolucent material that aims to improve outcomes of X-ray, CT and MRI modalities by avoiding imaging artifacts.
3. VaderOne allows for both minimally invasive and open surgical spine techniques.
4. icotec will unveil VaderOne at the North American Spine Society Annual Meeting in Chicago from Sept. 25 to 27.
