NuVasive revenue spikes 7.6% in Q4, 6% for 2019

NuVasive posted $310.4 million in total revenue for the fourth quarter, an increase of 7.6 percent year over year.

What you need to know:

1. For 2019, NuVasive reported $1.2 billion in revenue, an increase of 6 percent year over year.

2. The company reported an adjusted net income of $29.9 million on the quarter and $65.2 million on the year.

3. NuVasive issued 2020 revenue growth predictions of 4 percent to 6 percent, with adjusted earnings per share around $1.15 to $1.25.

4. NuVasive expects its international business and U.S. spinal hardware divisions to drive growth in 2020.

5. NuVasive CEO J. Christopher Barry said, "In 2020, our primary growth drivers include continuing to lead in lateral spine surgery, further innovation in targeted spine segments and achieving scale in key global markets to drive value and deliver on our long-term commitments."
