CurvaFix, a developer of implants to repair curved bone fractures, appointed Trevor Moody and Jeffrey Rydin to its board of directors on April 2.
Mr. Rydin has held several executive sales roles in the medical device industry, including positions at DePuy Spine, Orquest and Symphonix Devices.
Most recently, he operated as chief sales officer of Ellipse Technologies before NuVasive acquired the company for $410 million in 2016. Prior to the acquisition, he served as president of global sales at NuVasive.
Mr. Moody has served as a partner at Frazier Healthcare Ventures, a private equity firm with more than $2 billion under management.
For eight of his 10 years at the company, he co-led the medical device team at the company, focusing on orthopedics, sports medicine and neurostimulation, according to his LinkedIn profile.
