The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons asked surgeons to report how they think COVID-19 will affect interactions with industry sales representatives.
In May, AAOS distributed a series of surveys and received 1,523 responses.
Three things to know:
1. Nearly half of the AAOS members surveyed said they don't expect interactions with sales reps to change.
2. One-fourth of respondents said they want representatives to be tested for COVID-19 antibodies.
3. Twenty-seven percent advise sales reps to bring their own personal protective equipment.
