Camille Farhat, former president and CEO of RTI Surgical, has joined investment firm Water Street Healthcare Partners as an executive advisor.
Mr. Farhat led RTI Surgical's transformation into Surgalign Holdings, a portfolio company of Water Street Healthcare Partners. He retired from the company after RTI Surgical sold its original equipment manufacturer business to a private equity firm in a $480 million cash deal in July.
Most recently, he served on the board of directors of The Advanced Medical Technology Association and CMR Robotics Surgical, according to a Jan. 19 news release. He was also on the advisory council for Northwestern Memorial Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery.
Over the past decade, Water Street Healthcare Partners has completed more than 120 investments and acquisitions. The company is seeking growth opportunities in healthcare services, medical products and diagnostics, and pharmaceuticals and life sciences.
