Zimmer Biomet's spine and dental spinoff, ZimVie, completed its separation on schedule March 1.
The March 1 separation date was given in February alongside Zimmer Biomet's fourth quarter results. ZimVie shares will begin trading on the Nasdaq under the symbol "ZIMV," according to a March 1 news release.
Vafa Jamali, who previously worked at Medtronic, leads ZimVie as CEO. The independent spinoff company was first announced in February 2021.
