Xtant Medical named Mark Schallenberger as COO, the spine devicemaker said Jan. 9.
Mr. Schallenberger will step into his role Jan. 16, according to a news release. He has more than 12 years of experience in the orthobiologics industry and previously worked at Surgenex.
"In this newly created role, Mark will drive the modernization of our production, lead the optimization of our processes and operations, and support the diversification and development of new product lines," Sean Browne, president and CEO of Xtant Medical said in the release. "We look forward to Mark’s contributions to our key growth pillars."
