Here are eight key developments from spine and orthopedic medtech companies since Nov. 22:

1. Pristine Surgical's Summit arthroscope was released in a full market launch.

2. Orthofix named Massimo Calafiore as its new president and CEO.

4. Spinal Elements launched its Ventana 3D-printed interbody portfolio.

5. Orthopedic-focused medical technology company Enovis is set to undergo a leadership transition following the announcement that current President and COO Brady Shirley plans to step down in 2024. 

6. New data from Orthofix found its M6-C cervical disc saw better outcomes than anterior cervical discectomy and fusion after 5 years.

7. Nevro acquired Vyrsa Technologies, a company focused on sacroiliac joint fusion.

8. Aurora Spine's Zip fusion implant was found to be effective after six months, according to a study in the Journal of Pain Research.
