Surgalign released Holo AI Insights to assist clinical decision-making in spine surgery, the medtech company said March 13.
Holo AI Insights lets clients use Surgalign's artificial inelligence portfolio for analysis of medical images, according to a news release. Tasks such as segmenting images, measuring anatomic structures and planning pedicle screw placement are all automated.
Hani Malone MD, Greg Mundis MD and Robert Eastlack MD of the San Diego Spine Foundation are partnering with Surgalign for the first research deployment of Holo AI Insights.
