Stryker, Johnson & Johnson and Zimmer Biomet posted their first quarter financial results for 2023, and data on their orthopedic sales.

Here is how they compare:

Stryker 

Total sales: $4.8 billion (+11.8 percent) 

Orthopedics and spine: $2.1 billion (+12.7 percent) 

Hips: $375 million (+14.4 percent)

Knees: $566 million (+22 percent)

Spine: $284 million (+1.9 percent)

Johnson & Johnson

Total sales: $24.7 billion (+5.6 percent)

Spine, sports and other: $699 million ( percent) 

Orthopedic: $2.2 billion (+2.6percent) 

Hips: $390 million (+0.4 percent)

Knees: $368 million (+8.7 percent)

Zimmer Biomet

Total sales: $1.8 billion (+10.1 percent)

Hips: $492.8 million (+9.3 percent) 

Knees: $762.5 million (+15 percent)

Sports medicine, extremities, trauma, craniomaxillofacial and thoracic: $433.4 million (+4 percent)
