Brian Ipsen, MD, recently completed his 300th case using the Augmedics Xvision spine navigation system.
The navigation system uses an augmented reality headset that allows surgeons to see patients’ anatomy and navigate instruments and implants during spine procedures.
Dr. Ipsen is an orthopedic spine surgeon in Galena, Kansas. He has been using the headset since 2021, according to a June 12 LinkedIn post.
