Orthopedic medical device manufacturer Implanet has reported an operating revenue of $4.7 million for the first half of 2023, up 4 percent from the first quarter of 2022.
Its spine revenue reached $4.34 million, while Implanet's other businesses, medical equipment and services, made up the rest. Spine revenue was down 4 percent from the same time last year, according to the results published July 11.
Spine revenue in the U.S. totaled just over $900,000, while the majority of revenues came from France.
At the end of the second quarter, Implanet had a cash position of $1.66 million. In the second half of the year, Implanet plans to finalize the registration of its existing products in Europe, reinvigorate its presence in the U.S., continue developing strategic partnerships with SeaSpine and initiate the distribution of a new platform in China.
