Stryker plans to nominate Rachel Ruggeri for election to its board of directors, the company said Dec. 7.
Ms. Ruggeri has more than 25 years of global finance leadership and is the CFO and executive vice president at Starbucks, according to a news release. She also held other finance leadership positions with Starbucks before rising to CFO.
"We are very pleased about the potential to add Rachel to our Board," Stryker CEO Kevin Lobo said in the release. "Rachel will bring strong leadership experience and valuable insights from a highly respected global consumer company."
