Centinel Spine sees disc replacement sales soar 56% in Q4

Centinel Spine saw significant growth in its total disc replacement revenue in the fourth quarter of 2023, according to a Jan. 18 news release.

Worldwide disc replacement revenue in the fourth quarter was $20.2 million, a 56% increase year-over-year. December disc replacement sales globally was $7.6 million, a 66% increase compared to December 2022.

Worldwide Prodisc cervical disc replacement sales were $12.2 million in the fourth quarter, and lumbar disc devices saw $8 million in sales. 

"2023 was more than just record financial results," Centinel Spine CEO, Steve Murray, said in the release. "It was a transformative year for the company and the foundation for significant market and prodisc technology growth through 2024 and beyond. Centinel Spine is now exclusively focused on total disc replacement and becoming the clear leader in one of the fastest growing segments in all of orthopedics."
