Accelus introduces LineSider modular cortical system

Spinal Tech

Medtech company Accelus, a market leader in expandable spine implants, has announced the launch of its LineSider Modular-Cortical System, which provides surgeons with enhanced visualization by allowing the placement of screw shanks early in the procedure, followed by modular tulips and rods at the end.

The modular screw design is meant for greater procedural visibility, versatility and efficiency, according to a Jan. 29 press release.

The addition to Accelus' LineSider Spinal System product portfolio meets the needs of surgeons who use a modular pedicle screw system.

The LineSider Modular-Cortical System is available in open modular and cortical modular sets, with both sets designed to be compatible with existing LineSider instrumentation.

The LineSider Modular-Cortical System builds on Accelus' surgeon-centric solutions portfolio. To date, more than 10,000 LineSider screws have been implanted in the U.S. and 20,000+ LineSider-compatible FlareHawk interbody fusion devices have been implanted in 23 countries worldwide.
