Spineart completed enrollment for the U.S. investigational device exemption trial with the Baguera C cervical disc implant, the devicemaker said Feb. 29.
The trial will compare Baguera C in single-level cervical disc replacement to the Mobi-C , according to a news release. The trial will include about 300 patients across 30 study sites.
The Baguera C disc is designed to move in all six degrees of freedom and maintain the natural behavior of the spine. More than 60,000 implants have been sold globally since 2008.
