Three spine and orthopedic medtech companies provided updates related to acquisitions during the first quarter of 2024.
1. Enovis completed its acquisition of LimaCorporate in January. LimaCorporate will add to Enovis' orthopedic reconstruction market with products including the Trabecular Titanium implants and shoulder revision devices.
2. RTI Surgical signed an agreement to acquire Cook Biotech in January. The acquisition will bolster RTI Surgical's place as a contract development and manufacturing organization in regenerative medicine.
3. Stryker completed its acquisition of Serf SaS in March. Serf SaS is a hip implant company and is behind the Dual Mobility Cup.
