Spinal Simplicity earned FDA 510(k) clearance for its Wolff's Law anterior cervical plate system, the devicemaker said June 10.

The device provides continuous compression, which may help in the development of spinal fusion, according to a news release. It allows for 2 millimeters of active compression at each level and has a low-profile design.

Wolff's Law anterior cervical plate system also accommodates up to four-level fusions and has auto-lock technology to ensure stability.

Spinal Simplicity was founded in 2008 and is based in Overland Park, Kan.
