Alphatec directors buy more company stock

Two Alphatec executives acquired more shares of company stock, according to Aug. 5 Securities and Exchange Commission filings. 

Board member David Demski bought 40,000 shares of common stock priced at $6.56 per share on Aug. 5. He was CEO of Globus Medical before it merged with NuVasive, and he has been on Alphatec's board of directors since October 2023. Mr. Demski has increased his holdings in the company buying 70,000 shares total over the last year, GuruFocus reported. 

Another Alphatec director, Keith Valentine, also bought shares on Aug. 2. He purchased 39,000 shares of common stock worth $6.55 per share and now owns a total 82,140 shares.
