Zimmer Biomet named David DeMartino as its new senior vice president of investor relations, according to a Sept. 5 news release.
Mr. DeMartino will step into his role Sept. 9 and will develop, refine and lead the company's investor relations strategy. He has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry and was most recently chief strategy officer at Nyxoah.
Mr. DeMartino also has experience working in private company investments, sell-side equity research and medical devices.
"His impressive career achievements and extensive knowledge of the medtech industry, as both an investor and in equity research, make him the ideal candidate for this strategically important position," CEO Ivan Tornos said in the release.
