Stryker, Johnson & Johnson and Zimmer Biomet posted their third-quarter financial results for 2024 and data on their spine orthopedic sales.

Stryker

Total sales: $5.5 billion (+11.9%)

Orthopedics: $2.3 billion (10.7%)

Hips: $420 million (+15.9%)

Knees: $570 million (+10.6%)

Spine: $304 million (+4.6%)

Net gain: $834 million 

Zimmer Biomet

Total sales: $1.8 billion (+4%)

Hips: $481.5 million (+3.5%)

Knees: $745.1 million (+5.5%)

Sports medicine, extremities, trauma, craniomaxillofacial and thoracic: $464.2 million (+7.3%)

Net earnings: $249.1 million

Johnson & Johnson

Total sales: $22.5 billion (+5.2%)

Orthopedic: $2.2 billion (+1.2%)

Spine, sports and other: $696 million (-1.9%)

Hips: $381 million (+1.7%)

Knees: $352 million (+4%)

Net earnings: $2.7 billion
