Catalyst OrthoScience, which focuses on upper extremity orthopedic devices, named Carl O'Connell president and CEO.
Mr. O'Connell previously held leadership positions at Wright Medical, Xtant Medical, Stryker and Cerebrotech Medical Systems, according to a Jan. 11 news release. He replaces Brian Hutchinson at Catalyst OrthoScience.
Mr. O'Connell earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and an MBA from Mount Saint Mary's University in Emmitsburg, Md.
