Robert Palmisano, who led Wright Medical, was added to Saluda Medical's board of directors.
Mr. Palmisano is CEO and chair of SPAC Priveterra Acquisition, according to an April 20 news release. Previously, he was president and CEO of Wright Medical before its acquisition by Stryker. He has additional experience at healthcare companies including ev3, IntraLase and MacroChem Corp.
"Bob's prolific experience as a public and private company CEO and extensive history in executive operational, financial, and strategic roles across several transformational medical device companies will be tremendously helpful for us as we scale the commercial launch of the Evoke System in the U.S. and pursue our pipeline of advanced neuromodulation therapies," Jim Schuermann, president and CEO of Saluda Medical, said in the release.
Saluda Medical's Evoke system is a spinal cord stimulator designed for chronic pain management.
