Wenzel Spine appointed William Wilson as CEO almost two months after the devicemaker's former CEO died.
Mr. Wilson is a founding member of Wenzel Spine, according to a May 3 news release. He is stepping into the shoes of Chad Neely, who died March 7.
"This is a bittersweet transition for us all at Wenzel Spine," Mr. Wilson said in the release. "I am honored by the request and support of the coard to lead Wenzel Spine into its next chapter of growth and development."
Mr. Neely's father, Warren Neely, MD, was appointed as chair of the board of directors. Dr. Neely is a neurosurgeon and has been an early proponent of the company's VariLift system.
