SeaSpine's WaveForm TO was released in a full commercial launch.
It was designed for posterior lumbar interbody fusions and transforaminal lumbar interbody fusions, according to a June 8 news release. It is the company's first 3D-printed interbody to have a full commercial launch.
The device is compatible with the company's Reef TO system and is a versatile lumbar interbody implant.
"It remains essential to have interbody implants that cumulatively participate in the index biologic fusion response — always advancing the goal of stable osseous union," spine surgeon Erik Westerlund, MD, said in the release. "In this context, Waveform TO represents a uniquely optimized porous titanium TLIF interbody solution."
