Spinal devicemaker SeaSpine is launching an anterior lumbar interbody fusion device featuring the Reef A interbody.
The Meridian Anterior Lumbar Interbody System was designed to be modular and provide an array of fixation options, the company said Aug. 1. It replaces a previous SeaSpine system that offered three standalone options and no supplemental fixation.
"This next gen ALIF system is designed to provide maximum modularity coupled with our proprietary surface technology and Reef Topography, which we believe makes it the most comprehensive ALIF system on the market," SeaSpine Vice President of Product Development Shaeffer Bannigan said in a news release.
