CornerLoc launched the TransLoc 3D sacroiliac joint fusion system.

The system uses a lateral oblique approach to avoid sensitive anatomy such as nerves, muscles and arteries, according to an Oct. 12 news release shared with Becker's. TransLoc 3D is made with 3D-printed titanium and is available in a range of lengths.

"With our recent FDA 510(k) clearance and launch of TransLoc 3D, we are able to offer one of the most comprehensive SI joint fusion offerings available, giving the physician several implant options to match each patient’s needs,"Bob Compton, CEO and co-founder of CornerLoc, said in the release.

TransLoc 3D qualifies for the CPT panel's new definition of transfixing, which goes into effect Jan. 1, 2023.
