Orlando (Fla.) Health and Gainsville-based University of Florida recently announced an expansion of their existing neurosurgery partnership that will bring a neurosurgery practice to Orlando Health's downtown campus.
The practice will employ five neurosurgeons and will be on call for Orlando Regional Medical Center's level one trauma center.
An official from ORMC commented to the Orlando Business Journal that the neurosurgery practice will introduce new subspecialties that will improve and expand neurosurgical care in the Orlando Area.
