Intraoperative neuromonitoring services provider Assure Holdings added Jeffrey Ratusznik, MD, to its Texas network.
Here are three things to know.
1. Dr. Ratusznik is a Fort Worth, Texas-based orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in the evaluation and treatment of cervical and lumbar disc degeneration, adult and pediatric spinal deformity, fractures and complex revision procedures.
2. Assure works with neurosurgeons and orthopedic spine surgeons to provide a services that support intraoperative neuromonitoring activities during invasive surgeries. The company employs its own staff of technologists and uses its own monitoring equipment, handles all of the intraoperative neuromonitoring scheduling and setup and bills for all technical services provided.
3. Last November, Assure performed its first case in Texas, demonstrating the scalability of the model outside of the company's home state of Colorado.
