1. Dr. Ladd has spent nearly three decades as an orthopedic surgeon at Stanford.
2. She is an accomplished researcher, holding 10 patents and trademarks for innovation.
3. Dr. Ladd earned her medical degree from Syracuse-based SUNY Upstate Medical University. She completed a residency at the University of Rochester (N.Y.) and the Harvard Combined Hand Surgery Fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston
4. She is a past chair of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Board of Specialties Society.
