Saratoga Springs, N.Y.-based Saratoga Hospital is now offering robotic arm-assisted hip and knee replacement surgery.
The hospital was one of the first in its region to invest in Stryker's Mako system.
Six orthopedic surgeons at the hospital are trained to use the system in total hip replacements and partial and total knee replacements. Demand for these procedures is increasing as the population ages.
