Coastal Orthopedics in Bradenton, Fla. marked its 500th robotic knee procedure with Stryker's Mako robot, the practice said May 10.
The practice added the robot in October 2021, according to a news release shared with Becker's. The robot featured 3D image-based planning, AccuStop haptic technology and data analytics. Mako also helps increase precision during surgery.
Coastal Orthopedics has 19 physicians and was founded in 1973.
