Here are five hospitals and health systems that have integrated orthopedic robot systems to aid in surgeries and procedures that Becker's has reported on since Sept. 5:
1. Alabaster, Ala.-based Shelby Baptist Medical Center added the Mako robot system to assist in knee and hip procedures.
2. Oxford-based Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi completed its first total knee replacement with Zimmer Biomet's Rosa robot.
3. Fremont, Calif.-based Washington Hospital Healthcare System debuted Think Surgical's TMINI miniature robotic system.
4. Resurgens Orthopaedics' Austell, Ga., location became the first practice in the region to offer robot-assisted total knee replacements using Smith + Nephew's CORI Surgical System.
5. Greenwich (Conn.) Hospital performed its first total knee replacement surgery using robotic assistance.
