Oklahoma hospital adds Mako robot

Robotics

Integris Health Edmond (Okla.) Hospital has added a Stryker Mako robot for joint replacement procedures, according to a Nov. 2 report from The Journal Record.

The Integris surgical team has now performed several procedures using the new technology, which leads to shorter hospital stays, less pain and a faster return to daily lives for patients.

The Mako robot is minimally invasive, more precise, ergonomic and offers advanced visualization capabilities for surgeons.
