NuVasive featured its X360 Pulse platform at the North American Spine Society Annual Meeting in Chicago and plans to unveil its Pulse Robotics application at an exclusive event.
Three things to know:
1. The Pulse platform combines enabling technologies such as neuromonitoring, surgical planning, radiation reduction and rod bending. It also has imaging and navigation functions.
2. The platform was designed to allow for future applications such as robotics and smart tools. The robotics applications will allow surgeons to perform robotic-assisted procedures.
3. Pulse Robotics will provide real-time feedback to surgeons and allow them to make adjustments during surgery. It also has a flexible mobile cart that can configure to the existing operating room.
