Becker's Spine Review has reported on more than 40 hospitals, health systems and practices adding spine and orthopedic robots so far in 2021.

Here's a state-by-state breakdown:

Arizona
Abrazo Scottsdale Campus' first robotic knee replacement with Smith+Nephew's Cori system was completed by James Chow, MD.

Spine surgeons at Abrazo West Campus in Goodyear, Ariz., are offering robotic surgery with Globus Medical's ExcelsiusGPS system.

Arkansas
A Mako robot has arrived at Magnolia (Ark.) Regional Medical Center, which has scheduled the first two cases with the system for June.

California
Newport Beach, Calif.-based Hoag Pickup Family Neurosciences Institute became the first West Coast hospital to use Medtronic's Mazor X Stealth Edition robotic platform.

Fresno, Calif.-based Saint Agnes Medical Center has added Stryker's Mako robot for joint replacements.

Colorado
Parker (Colo.) Adventist Hospital added Zimmer Biomet's Rosa Knee for joint replacements.

Florida
Frank Vrionis, MD, and Timothy Miller, MD, completed the first robotic spine surgery at Marcus Neuroscience Institute in Boca Raton, Fla.

Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, Fla., has implemented the Navio surgical system.

Boca Raton, Fla.-based Marcus Neuroscience Institute's first spine surgery using the Mazor robot was performed by Tim Miller, MD.

Palms West Hospital in Loxahatchee, Fla., has bolstered its robotics program by adding Smith+Nephew's Cori system.

JFK Medical Center North Campus in West Palm Beach, Fla., debuted Stryker's Mako robot for joint replacements.

Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based HCA East Florida acquired 13 surgical robots to be used for minimally invasive surgery.

Georgia
Dalton, Ga.-based Hamilton Medical Center started using Stryker's Mako robot.

The first robotic-assisted total knee replacement at St. Francis - Emory Healthcare in Columbus, Ga., was performed by George Zimmerman, DO.

Idaho
Northwest Specialty Hospital in Post Falls, Idaho, acquired its second ExcelsiusGPS spine robot.

Illinois
Total joint specialist Rajeev Puri, MD, performed Kankakee, Ill.-based Amita Health St. Mary's Hospital's first two joint replacements with Zimmer Biomet's Rosa Knee in February.

Geneseo, Ill.-based Hammond Henry Hospital added Zimmer Biomet's Rosa Knee for total joint replacements.

Iowa
Sioux Center (Iowa) Health purchased Stryker's Mako robotic arm, a first for Sioux County.

Kansas
Topeka, Kan.-based Stormont Vail Health and its orthopedic center, Cotton O'Neil Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, added Zimmer Biomet's Rosa robotic system.

Kentucky
Neurosurgeon Sharad Rajpal, MD, completed Louisville, Colo.-based Centura-Avista Adventist Hospital's first spinal fusion involving Midas Rex high-speed drills with Medtronic's Mazor robot.

Maryland
Paul Asdourian, MD, and Paul McAfee, MD, are reportedly the first spine surgeons in the mid-Atlantic region to perform a lateral lumbar interbody fusion with the ExcelsiusGPS system.

Michigan
Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health's Brent Knudson, DO, completed the region's first total knee replacement with Zimmer Biomet's Rosa Knee Jan. 11.

MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland's Mark Goethe, MD, completed the hospital's first robotic-assisted knee replacement with Smith+Nephew's Cori surgical system.

Minnesota
Woodbury, Minn.-based Summit Orthopedics' Eagan Surgery Center was reportedly the first ASC in the state to perform spine surgery with the Mazor X Stealth Edition robotic system.

New Hampshire
Derry, N.H.-based Parkland Medical Center and Christian Klare, MD, have acquired Globus Medical's ExcelsiusGPS system.

New Jersey
Bayonne (N.J.) Medical Center started offering robotic-assisted joint replacements and plans to add robotic spine surgery.

New Mexico
Albuquerque, N.M.-based Lovelace Medical Center and Westside Hospital have acquired a robot for hip and knee replacements.

New York
Montefiore Health System in New York City kicked off its robotic joint replacement program, featuring Zimmer Biomet's Rosa robot, in January.

Bay Shore, N.Y.-based South Shore University Hospital debuted Zimmer Biomet's Rosa Knee robotic system.

Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, N.Y., has become the first hospital in the region to offer the Mako SmartRobotics system for joint replacements.

Rochester (N.Y.) Regional Health installed Zimmer Biomet's Rosa Knee.

Indiana (Pa.) Regional Medical Center became the first hospital in the tri-county region to offer Stryker's Mako SmartRobotics.

Allentown, Pa.-based Lehigh Valley Health Network is the first health system in that region to acquire the Mazor X robot.

Tennessee
Neurosurgeon Kevin Foley, MD, performed Memphis' first spinal fusion with a new robotic system.

Athens, Tenn.-based Starr Regional Medical Center debuted Stryker's Mako robot for joint replacements, according to a March 22 announcement.

Kingsport, Tenn.-based Holston Valley Medical Center has expanded its robotic surgery offerings with the addition of the da Vinci Xi surgical system.

Texas
Harlingen, Texas-based Valley Baptist Medical Center is reportedly the first hospital in the region to install Brainlab's robotic imaging system.

Covenant Health Plainview (Texas) has expanded its orthopedic surgery offerings with the addition of ROSA, the robotic surgical system.

Virginia
Fauquier Health in Warrenton, Va., installed the ExcelsiusGPS and da Vinci Xi robots.
