A Kansas neurosurgeon recently marked his 100th robotic-assisted procedure in 18 months.

Samuel Taylon, MD, completed the procedure at Overland Park (Kan.) Regional Medical Center using Globus Medical's ExcelsiusGPS, according to a July 13 LinkedIn post.

The ExcelsiusGPS combines a robotic arm with navigational capabilities that allow surgeons to operate with a small incision.
