Dr. David Scott Studying Hip Implant Designed to Decrease Osteoporosis

David Scott, MD, is in the first year of his two year study of a hip replacement device, which is designed to preserve more femur bone and reduce the risk for osteoporosis, according to Spokane Journal. Dr. Scott is an orthopedic surgeon, and his clinical trial is measuring femur bone density changes. His results are promising that the device can preserve bone density, according to the report.
