Tri-City Orthopaedic & Spine Institute Adds NavioPFS Robotic System

Spinal Tech

Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, Calif., purchased a NavioPFS System from Blue Belt Technologies to add robotic knee replacement surgeries. Starting in May, surgeons at Tri-City's Orthopaedic & Spine Institute will be able to perform less invasive partial knee replacements, according to the release. Tri-City is the second hospital in the nation to use this system.

The NavioPFS system uses CT-free, intraoperative registration, planning and navigation for the computer-assisted procedure, which places an implant on just one side of a patient's knee.
