Medtronic launched the VERTEX SELECT reconstruction system posted screw module for treating patients who require fixation of the vertebrae in the upper-thoracic spine, according to a company news release.
The VERTEX SELECT system includes implants and general instruments to treat a variety of conditions, including degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, fractures, tumors and spondylolisthesis. The posted screw module gives physicians multiple options to accommodate for the patient's anatomy.
The posted screw module includes headless, posted screws and adjustable connectors, which allow for connection from any direction, angle or height.
