NuVasive launched its Pulse system, which is designed to feature multiple technologies to assist surgeons in adopting more efficient and less disruptive surgical methods in spine procedures.
Three insights:
1. The system is designed to enhance workflow, decrease variability and improve surgical reproducibility.
2. It blends neuromonitoring, surgical planning, rod bending, radiation reduction, imaging and navigation functions with the ability to increase OR surgical efficiencies.
3. Pulse aims to enhance a spine surgeon's ability to use minimally invasive techniques, which reduces blood loss and hospital stays, and result in less morbidity than open spine surgery.
