Christopher Palmer, DO, a Missouri-based orthopedic surgeon, has performed more than 2,000 robotic joint replacements using Stryker's Mako robot — more than anyone else in the state, according to a Feb. 27 report from St. Louis Magazine.
Dr. Palmer has worked at Signature Orthopedics St. Louis for the last six years, focusing on minimally invasive treatments, total joint and partial joint replacement, joint arthroscopy and orthopedic trauma.
Mako robots can provide patients with faster recovery times, less blood loss and reduced postoperative pain.
